Current term

We are so proud of how hard the children are working so far in Year 6. Their work ethic is admirable.

This term our topic is focused on the Stone Age to the Iron Age. We will be visiting Bristol Museum in January to take part in a workshop that will enhance your child’s learning in this area.  In English, we will be looking at narrative, letter writing and newspaper reports. In Maths, we are continuing our work with decimals and percentages and will go on to look at measurements later in the term.

As ever, please try and encourage children to work on their times tables at home using Times Tables Rock Stars. In addition, sheets are available from class teachers and we have provided web links below to help.

PE kit must be in everyday to enable us to be flexible with our time table. Please pack a warm jumper and a water bottle.

Please make the most of the English and Maths SATS revision guides that we have sent home as they will be very useful to your children to consolidate their learning in class.
